 After being honorably discharged from the United States Marines Corps, J-M completed horseshoeing school at the Northwest School of Horseshoeing located in Walla Walla, WA. From there J-M began his professional farrier career in Colorado, shoeing mostly ranch, rodeo & packhorse type horses with a large number of draft horses thrown in there, (just to keep him humble). After relocating to Tallahassee, FL J-M specialized in more of the sporthorse & English type disciplines of shoeing. J-M then brought his craft to NJ where the bulk of his clientele consisted of pleasure/trail type horses and western pleasure & English show horses. Throughout the years J-M has provided hoofcare to a variety of hooved animals. Along with his experience as a professional farrier, J-M has owned & provided husbandry to horses (both show & pleasure) & other animals throughout the years. J-M has recently spent his time managing a large farm/estate in Georgia, and brings his knowledge, dedication, reliability and amicable personality to us here at Green Pastures Horse Farm.
